Hi There!

I'm Ainsleigh - British-Vietnamese, London based Actor and Voiceover Artist!

I've been a creative performer since I was very small. I wrote my first jingle when I was just 5 years old (listen to my commercial demo and take a guess which one!), I attempted to adapt my first short story into a play when I was 7, and was known to be that one child in a nativity reading to NOT need a microphone!

I studied Media Production at Weston College in 2007, which gave me a fundamental understanding and appreciation for working behind the camera as a writer, editor and director.

I went on to graduate at Aberystwyth University with a 2:1 BAHons in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies.

Over the last decade, I've developed a wonderfully diverse career as an actor, model, Child Standin/Body-double and voice actor. I've been privileged to work on various TV shows, films, Pantos, childrens entertainment and theatre (and on occassion test-riding Polar Bear for the VFX department)!

With my broad experience, I would love to help you bring your scripts to life: Commercial, E-Learning, Narration, Animation, Videogames, MotionCapture...

FAQ

The short answer is:

What training haven't I had?

As the adage for an actor goes: we never stop learning. I'm passionate about learning new skills as well as building on my current toolkit. I'm always looking for new workshops to attend and new teachers to learn from.

The long version:

I'm a current student at Hoopla! Improv as well as taking regular classes with Run At It Shouting here in London.

Since lockdown and for a few years after until it closed, I was a member of The Voice Over Network and took regular workshops through their network, from Randal Ryan (Hamsterball studios), Jon Briggs, Tom Keegan, Andrea Toyias and Liquid Violet.

Several voiceover coaches have been essential for my VO readiness and voicereel development, such as Elley Ray, June Yoon, and Silver-Tongued Productions.

I've had audiobook and accent coaching through VoicewithKeith.

I've also attended several motioncapture workshops with Target3D, Jessica Jeffries, and Phoebe Hyder.

Previous to my Voiceover career, I've also taken several actor courses in Cardiff and Bristol as well as holding a BA(Hons.) Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies 2:1 from Aberystwyth University.
